DRAWING CLASSES

Unleash your inner artist! Join Drawing I and discover the joy of creating.
Whether you're picking up a pencil for the first time or returning to a forgotten passion, this class is your canvas. Starting with the fundamentals, you will build a solid foundation in a supportive and fun environment, guided by an experienced artist.
Over four weeks, you will learn to:
Master the tools: Get to know graphite, charcoal, colored pencils, and ink.
Shape your vision: Use value, contrast, texture, and color to bring compositions to life.
See like the masters: Study timeless works of art for insight and inspiration.
Understand perspective: Create realistic, three-dimensional scenes using 1, 2, and 3-point perspective.
Draw from life: Sharpen your observational skills by sketching the world around you.
Capture the essence: Learn to draw compelling human faces, figures, still life, and landscapes.
Class details:
When: Mondays, 2–3:30 p.m., from November 10 to December 1, 2025
Where: Common Fence Community Center
Cost: $120 for 4 classes, or $25 per week. A makeup week will be announced if you miss a class.
